International Business Coach/Instructor Speaker & Author

Laurel coaches entrepreneurs, small business owners, realtors, financial professionals, and hundreds of other coaches. Laurel has co-hosted several radio talk shows covering such topics as time management, new business calling, how to make yourself irresistible at networking functions, ”Laser Coaching” and many more.  Laurel is currently in her 23 + plus year of business as an International Business Coach.

Laurel graduated with honors from Rhodes College then taught hundreds of Coaches over 2 ½ years.  Laurel has also taught several courses at conventions, retreats, UBC, Simon Fraser University and Kwantlen College.  Laurel is a Founding Member of Coachville, an international association of extraordinary Coaches.  She served on the Board of the IACC (International Association of Certified Coaches) was active on the ICSB (International Coaching Standards Board). 

As well as continuing to grow personally and within her own business, Laurel has always been involved with several organizations such as Women Empowering Women, listed as the “Business/Entrepreneur Expert” and served on the Advisory Committee.  Laurel was the Managing Director for the Surrey Chapter of eWomenNetwork Inc. organization and chosen as one of the International “Premier Coaches”.  

In 2000, Laurel created the industry’s first ever “24 hour coach-a-thon” which in its first year generated over $11,000 in pledges and donations for the Variety Club Telethon.  Laurel continues to source out opportunities to be of assistance to those in need.  

Laurel proudly held the role of “Ambassador” for the Baron Mastery Institute for Renowned Speaker Dr. Dov Baron Creator of Quantum Physics, The Secret Behind The Secret, EFM Technology and much more.

Laurel has recently accepted the offer to become an Ambassador with Alignable an online business networking group. She will be hosting semi-monthly virtual networking events where businesses can “quick connect” with one another.

Laurel created a business networking company “Diamond Star Networking” which she sold in 2008 when she moved to Vancouver Island. Laurel is still not ready to stop helping businesses.
